Studied piano with Alfred Wittenberg and Tatiana Petrovna Kravchenko, Li was Vice President of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music (1984-1989), professor of piano, and Chairman of the Shanghai Piano Association. He had won the Third Prize of International Smetana Piano Competition, Czechoslovakia; the First Prize of George Enescu International Piano Competition, Romania and the Fourth Prize of International Chopin Piano Competition, Poland. Professor Li has extensively been performing, teaching and adjudicating throughout the world. His recordings are also comprehensive in both selection of composers and periods of time. With continuous enthusiasm, Professor Li's contribution to promoting and developing music is great and profound. |

Gabriel
Kwok |
Gabriel Kwok studied piano with Guy Jonson at the Royal Academy of Music in London, on an Associated Board Scholarship, and later with Louis Kentner. Returned to Hong Kong in 1978, Mr. Kwok appears frequently in concerts as soloist and chamber music player, collaborating with many local and overseas distinguished artists. He is now Head of Keyboard Studies at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and has been giving master classes and being a juror at international piano competitions. |

Dr. Li attained his Master Degree in San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Doctoral Degree in Musical Arts in Cleveland Institute of Music. During the period from 1987 to 1993, he worked as a Piano Faculty Member in Cleveland Institute of Music. At present, he is the Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Piano Teacher Association. | |
Nancy
Loo |
Nancy Loo learned piano with Betty Drown and, by scholarship, studied in the Juilliard School with Adele Marcos in New York. Vlado Perlemuter and Guido Agosti are her other teachers. Loo won prizes in various international competitions such as Rina Sala Gallo International Competition, Marguerite-Long International Competition, and the Premio Jaen, and was selected as one of the"Ten Outstanding Young Persons"in Hong Kong in 1978. With comprehensive experience in performing, recording and teaching, she teaches at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the University of Hong Kong, the Baptist University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, hosts music programmes of Radio 4, Radio Television Hong Kong and contributes music articles for magazines and newspaper. | |
Eleanor
Wong |
Studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London and Manhattan School of Music, New York. Her teachers included Frederick Jackson, Arthur Balsam and Vlado Perlemuter. Presently Ms. Wong is Artists-in-Residence at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and visiting professor to Shenzhen School of Arts. Ms. Wong is Chairperson of the Piano Teachers Association and is an active performer, adjudicator and educator. | |
Mary
Wu |
An active performer of solo and chamber music repertoire, Mary Wu has traveled and played in many places in the world. She is presently artist-in-residence at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and devotes part of her time also teaching at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. First taught by her mother, she later studied with Louis Kentner, Peter Norris and Vlado Perlemuter for the piano and Ruth Dyson for the clavichord and harpsichord. She has been a jury member in several competitions including the International Ibiza Piano Competition in Spain. | |
